It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang.

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Watching: Just finished Bubblegum Crisis
Playing: I BEAT VALKYRIA CHRONICLES YAY!
Eating: nothing
Drinking: Soda

So tomororow I take the long bus ride home. Break seems to have gone pretty fast, but then I did have a lot of fun. Luckily Tuesday I don't have to get up early, as my classes don't start till 3:30 which is a nice change. My only rough day will be wensdays when I has 4 classes and has to get up early >.> I'm looking at you Design for Media. On the good side, I finally got mah tablet, and I want to start working on some personal projects. Anywho, I totally ready for this semester, I suspect this will be a bit tougher since I am now taking 2 animation classes, but that will hopefully be eased by the fact I have more Liberal arts classes. I am so looking forward to Art of Japan.
