I know I have been quite inactive the past month, alot of private stuff going on and upcoming exams, but I will try to be more active again from now on. Microsoft Employees Disrupt Wii U Best Buy EventsRemember how Nintendo was showcasing some of their E3 games at participating Best Buy stores around the country? Well, apparently Microsoft employees have been hired to go to these events and preach about the Xbox One and make comments like "why would you buy a outdated Wii U when the Xbox One is right around the corner?"
However, the employees aren't getting what they hoped for. Most customers just start bashing the Xbox One in response. Seriously, Microsoft, the people attending these Best Buy Wii U events are people who are intimately familiar with the crap you pulled at E3. They ain't takin' your shit.
At first I thought this might just be a case of one really loyal Microsoft employee taking matters into his own hands (especially since the original source was /v/), but reports have come in from numerous Best Buy's around the country that indicate many Microsoft employees have ambushed the demo lines trying to persuade people to switch to the Xbox One.

There are two ways to write a novel. Plotting (you make an outline, a plan, a roadmap if you will, and then you sit down and write it) and pantsing (you write "by the seat of your pants, throwing caution to the wind). So when I get asked if I'm a plotter or a pantser, I'm all like er, uh, hold on, let me? Pantser? I think? But I kind of, um, do planny things?
And it gets kind of awkward because in these inarticulate moments I have managed to confuse everyone including myself. And probably spilled a drink.
In recent discussions, however, I've had a bit of a revelation, silly as it is. I've realized that I -- like many writers -- am a plotter/pantser hybrid. And perhaps what I'm doing is something we could call Pantsing Responsibly. And, maybe, just maybe, I could share some of my responsible pantsing tips with other writers. Starting with paper notebooks.

I've come out against used game sales and even written a journal about boycotting GameStop because (like most people at the time) I believed they were the root cause of all the problems the video game industry has. But that's something I don't believe now as intently as i did then. From where I sit, piracy and used games sales are a problem, but not in the way game companies want us to believe that they are.
Used games are a good thing for consumers. We get to try games out, and if we don't like what we see or finish it early, we trade it in and try another title instead. It's a very good system for us since video game rentals are much harder to come by. SPIKE updatesJust thought I'd share with you guys some updates on the progress of finishing my "SPIKE" novel.
A lot of people have asked me how it's going, when it will be published and stuff. I really appreciate getting asked these things because it shows that people are actually interested in my writings, and that it just such a great feeling

So today I start working at the Park Ave. Art festival, I have to go in from 3 to 9 today, then tommorrow I'm working a 14 (6am to 9pm) hours shift and a 12 (8am to 8pm) hour on sunday. I'm looking forward to it, kinda disappointed I won't be able see any of the festival outside of my assigned area.

Oh well.

In other news I finally got out of art block but I haven't really had any time to work on anything. I also beat ETERNAL SONATA. It was GREAT!! I LOVE YOU CHOPIN!! Patrick Seitz's voice was amazing for him.

So now I am working one beating Valkyria chronicles, I have 3 chapters left to go. I'm getting really excited!

I recently read the first volume of Takeru: Opera Susanoh Sword of the Devil, which is the adaptation of a play. It's about the guys named Takeru looking for a legendary sword. It's pretty good. My favorite character is Oguna no Takeru, though I think "he" might actually be a "she". We'll see, the next volumes comes out september 1st, I think. I hope to get the volume 7 of Le Chevalier D'eon soon too, it should be out now. ^_^

So there's a general update, I hope to have a lot of work to upload by the time school starts so...yeah. Ok, Tai-shan over and out.
